Useful passenger information

We offer an “all economy class” complimentary meal and beverage service. We pride ourselves in providing the best service in its class of short sector flights. 

For a pleasant and safe flight, passengers are required to observe onboard safety guidelines and safety regulations demonstrated by our cabin crew. Be sure to read the safety instructions card located in the seat pocket in front of you to familiarize yourself with safety procedures in the event of an emergency, these cards should not be removed from the aircraft. 

Our cabin crew is ready to welcome all our passengers as you board the aircraft and guide you to where you will be seated. Travellers that wish to hang their jackets/coats inflight are offered the on-board wardrobe when available.

Our aircraft has service panels at the top of every passenger seat which comprises of a call bell, (which you can press to call for assistance) reading lights (for extra lighting) and an air vent (for fresh air).

Stow your carry-on baggage, take your seat, and fasten your seat belt.

Please keep your seat belt fastened when the seat belt sign is on, and whenever you are seated.

After the aircraft doors close, please switch your electronic devices to airplane mode or turn them off.

Smoking is strictly prohibited on all Eswatini Air flights, including the lavatories.

Health regulations of some countries require that the cabin be sprayed by our cabin crew prior to take off. The spray is harmless however, if you think it might affect you, please cover your nose and mouth with a handkerchief.

The use of smokeless tobacco products and smoke substitutes (electronic cigarettes, vapes etc.) that do not emit fire is also prohibited on board the aircraft.

Eswatini Air requests all passengers to refrain from photographing other passengers and staff on duty without their consent, as it may cause inconvenience to other passengers. Your understanding and cooperation in this regards is highly appreciated.

During take-off and landing, kindly take your seat and stow your tray table to original position.

Disturbing or interfering with the duties of cabin crew is highly prohibited and can be considered a criminal offense punishable by law. As such, passengers are required to cooperate with our cabin crew when engaging with them, verbally or physically.

For any assistance do not hesitate to call on any of our cabin crew, they will be happy to assist you.

An unaccompanied minor will receive an identification card upon arrival at the airport to wear until they get to their destination. At check-in, the accompanying adult is required to fill in a form that provides Eswatini Air with detailed information of the guardian and minor together with that of the adult meeting the unaccompanied minor at their destination.

The unaccompanied minor is handed over to the warm hands of our cabin crew by our ground personnel at the aircraft door. Once on board, our cabin crew will seat the unaccompanied minor in close view of the cabin crew for safe monitoring and assistance.

A parent or accompanying adult should report to the destination airport two hours before arrival of the aircraft to obtain a gate pass.

Eswatini Air will not release the child to anyone other than the nominated person.

For infants and children, below is available on board:

  • Infant seatbelts (Belly Loops) which are used together with the parent’s seatbelt to secure the infant on the parent’s lap for the duration of the flight.
  • Infants’ life jackets which are to be used in the unlikely event of an emergency on water.
  • Our lavatories are equipped with foldable nappy changing area.
  • Extra oxygen masks specifically for passengers travelling with infants.
  • Our crew will provide a special briefing to passengers travelling with infants, including the appropriate brace positions, location of the call button, nearest exit, oxygen masks, toilets, how to use the belly loop, etc.

Eswatini Air is a full-service airline which offers complimentary meals and beverages on all flights. Carefully selected snacks and cold meals are offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner, depending on the respective flight departure and arrival times.


Beverages offered include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Non-alcoholic drinks comprise of assorted juices, soft drinks, water, coffee, and teas, while alcoholic beverages comprise of beers and wines only. Alcoholic beverages are not offered on flights departing before noon.

Special meals (vegetarian, diabetic etc) are offered on request provided they are ordered minimum 24 hours before departure.

Eswatini air has a first aid kit on-board, and our highly experienced cabin crew will ensure you are well attended to whenever you need any medical assistance. If you feel nausea during flight an air sickness bag is provided and is located at the seat pocket in front of you.
