Members of the Executive Management Committee are responsible for managing the daily business and operational activities of the  company. They are entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the company’s strategy and through the CEO accountable to the Board of Directors.

Per applicable legislation, the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial officer are appointed with approval of the Shareholder, while other Executive Management Committee members are appointed by the Chief Executive Officer in consultations with the Board of Directors.

Holds a Master of Business Administration, a Diploma in Aviation Safety Management, Accident Prevention, Accident Investigation, ICAO Government Safety Inspector and several other Aviation certificates. He is a pilot by profession with over 14 000 flight hours. His career in aviation includes having been Chief Pilot, held various Senior Executive Management positions in airline operations, served as a Board member of an Airspace Management Agency and also of a Civil Aviation Authority, among others.

Getaneh Desta Woldemichael joins Eswatini Air as Director Commercial. In this role his responsibilities include leading Eswatini Air’s commercial team to deliver revenue and market share growth for the airline. Getaneh holds a diploma in Airline Marketing and Finance, a BA degree in Economics from Addis Ababa University and an MBA in Leadership & Sustainability from the University of Cumbria in UK.
